How's dental care in UK? Dental care is not publicly provided, is it?

You can attend the dentist on the NHS, but there are not many NHS dentists so this is a big problem for many in the UK.

Is this true in bigger cities like London, Liverpool and Manchester or this only applies in smaller cities and communities?

I don't know if it's location specific. I'm pretty sure it's a problem across most of the UK, but I suspect it's worse in some places than in others. I am lucky... one of my fellow footballers is a dentist!

Haha... no, I don't get discount. But being with a NHS dentist saves money. Smile

Does private dentist give you better service or the quality of service is about the same?

I think it's pretty much the same. In fact, many dentists operate both privately and on the NHS... so you can get the same person, and same level of service, but simply at different prices!

In principle, private practice is set up to provide premium service. No?

How much difference is there in price?

To be honest, I'm not too sure, but I suspect you can pay at least double privately.
