Very true. I think a lot of people make their lives more complicated than what it has to be.

Good points. I think we all need to find a way to slow down. It's such a high-stressed, fast paced society. Appointments, bills, school, work, children, cars, it seems overwhelming sometimes. But I do take the time to relax, relate, release. Whoever mentioned hot baths, I love hot baths. I can take one for hours

It helps a lot.
Definitely! I love a good soak myself, with a smoke & a cup of coffee - and just watch the steam...

LOL, so true, scolls. All of the (unnecessary) stress, and getting overwhlemed is not worth it in the end.

Coming first isn't everything - you miss out on soo much for the haste. The finishing line is death, and I'd like to take the most scenic route there as possible.

i understand your point
people who say they are busy , i dont fell that they dont organise their time well
even a 48 hour day will fall short for them
if they just organise their day, time and work they will find that they also have free time in their hands

It does depend on the situation, though. Sometimes you may have too few hours in the day, while some others you may have plenty free time.
Take an ER doctor over xmas, for example...

I can kind of understand what you are saying, but you have 24 hours a day no less, no more. It's a bit silly to wish it to be longer or shorter, isn't it? Unlike money, space, food and water, you can't get more, no matter what you do.

I just read the post's heading again now... to answer the heading question, I'd have to say "No more than any other belief". I suppose it's more sane to believe one is busy, than to believe one lives after dying, etc etc.
...ooh, but then doesn't it present the question "Is belief a mental illness?". Mind you, when I put on the news & see that lot, I shake my head & rather put it off again. These humans will even kill each other over that which they do not even have any hope of knowing! How rediculous!

.Appointments, ...
Funny you mentioned about appointments. I don't think I'm the only one here who notice that so many people (most people?) do not show up on time. If they always show up on time and be punctual AND they make gazillion appointments, then it makes sense. But if they're almost always not showing up on time, i.e., having pretty loose schedule, how can they be so stressed and busy? Isn't it just their imagination?
Getting organized and being functional increases your productivity and also it makes you less distressed, as things go more smoothly. So, arguably, the belief of "being so busy" and "stressed out" because of that is created from being irresponsible, not from having to accomplish so many things at the same time.
