It was an interesting experience; I recall being really concerned about the amount of drugs being stuck into me via the IVs going into each arm. This due to the drugs testing scheme in the Army - I was a senior person and I didn't want to be found positive, it would have been career ending.
I'm also supposedly allergic. I wonder if it's a "for life" thing? Is one necessarily born allergic to it?

Treatment
There are limited mainstream medical treatments for allergies. Probably the most important factor in rehabilitation is the removal of sources of allergens from the home environment, and avoiding environments in which contact with allergens is likely. The trouble with them is that they have not all been proven. Therefore it could be seen as a placebo; however, it has helped people.

i had a lot of illness as a child, measle, mumps, hooping cough, the lot..
I think i am imune to most bacteria now. 3 years in a dirty student house is a great way to strengthen your immune system

Nothing exciting here, just appendicitis, so i had my appendix out. That was fine, BUT then i got an infection and was sick for 6 weeks. THAT was bad!!!

I never really had an illness, but started getting gaingreen on my leg form a wound on my ancle and I almost lost my foot.
