It's pretty normal that you get stressed about some things. How do you cope with stress?

When I see it coming, I run like hell in the opposite direction!
I avoid it like a hungry lion was chasing me!!! I have had enough of stress, and I hate it with a passion.
It is a basket of asps!
I'm really getting into the chillout zone now... even when things go wrong, I just try rather calmly working my way round things. Sometimes, I need a really good cup of tea.
I suppose with the frequency things have gone wrong for me, I have had to learn how to cope with stress - and funnily enough, I'm finding that with less stressing about things, things seem to go off smoother & actually come my way. Strange, but true story.

Ok, help me to cope with stress. The following is a true story.
I asked to upgrade my server to my host company about two months ago. They told me that it wouldn't take more than an hour, but they failed, failed and failed. They failed literally a dozen times. Apparently, there was a hardware problem, and it just came up when I requested server upgrade. Anyhow, the server was down for 2 days, and it was a big mess. I ended up installing all applications and data (including this site) from scratch. Data was fortunately recoverable, but still, it was a big mess. They made number of serious mistakes, so I requested credit and/or refund. Meanwhile, they f*** up my server again. It was just unbelievable. They made series of mistakes including hardware configuration (for the second time). Two months after I requested credit and/or refund, f***er came back to me and told me that they cannot give credit to me BECAUSE upgrade took longer than they initially suggested. Are these f***ers just kidding or brain dead? They f***ed up so badly, but they essentially tell me that none of these events took place. They essentially tell me that I was in coma. This pisses me off. This gives me stress. How do I cope with this?

Well, now that's aired, do you feel better already? Good to talk about things sometimes... and then forget about them, and think rationally about a better plan.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. It's all part of the game.

Get a new host and move all my sites to the host slowly and gradually (because my current host is ran by a bunch of f***ers). That's what I've been planning to do for some time now ...

Good plan. Probably need to also think about contingency plan, like a backup you keep on your pc in case they mess things up too!
You could even host your backup on your pc if you wanted to. Assuming your ISP doesn't moan.

I usually just close my eyes and avoid thinking about anything that could stress me.. after sitting for about 5 minutes with my eyes closed I usually feel a lot better.

It's a good strategy. Actually not a bad idea to have some "quiet time" each day where you spend it just relaxing & thinking about nothing at all.
