Scientists have used a glowing protein from fireflies to observe the activity of a molecule that is an important target for new drugs to treat cancer, autoimmune diseases and several other disorders.

Cancer research is all good, but seemingly obvious causes such as overuse of petrochemical products and bad diet are often not a part of discussion on cancer epidemic. This seems like a bigger problem than the problem of not having definitive cure for cancer.
